MEET THE FOUNDER TAYLOR
Hey you!!! First off, gotta say, I’m so glad you’re here! Knowing your photographer is super important! After all, it’s not just a service you’re receiving, but there’s an entire human behind the service and YOU WANT TO LOVE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! You spend a ton of time with them, so here we go!
There’s no better way to start this than to say, I’m a friend of Jesus. He’s pretty important to me. I’m married to the absolute love of my life, Derek, and we are going on 3 years of marriage! We’ve got two fur babies for now, Baylee and CC. (Ask me later about my cat’s OBSESSION with my Husband. No exaggeration) I love all things outdoors, cold weather, deep conversations (I suck at small talk), black coffee with a splash of half & half, laughter and creating. A dream of mine is to have a small homestead in the future. My Husband and I want to be able to live off of our own land and give food to others in need.
Something I’m really big on is making the one in front of me feel seen. I’m not always as intentional as I’d like to be with it, but I believe no one is an inconvenience or interruption.

If I am looking for coverage that is not under your set collections, can I create a customized collection?Yes! Taylor Cook & Co. offers customized collections. Every bride and groom can get the exact coverage they are looking for their wedding day.

Do you require an investment up front or offer payment plans?A 50% retainers fee is due upon signing your contract to secure your date. Payment plans are not available.

What is your turnaround time?Sneak peeks are sent within 5 business days for wedding and elopements and full galleries are delivered 8-10 weeks. Sneak peeks are sent within 5 days for branding sessions and full galleries are delivered within 5 weeks. Rush orders can be made.

Where are you located and where do you travel to?Taylor Cook & Co. is based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and travels to wherever your love story takes me! Discounted rates are offered to couples wanting to elope or get married in Greece, Ireland, Alaska or Yosemite National Park.

What is your editing style?Taylor Cook & Co. is a true to color edit with her own signature flare.

What does your booking process look like?Upon inquiry, the couple receives a wedding pricing guide that also includes full portfolio, client welcome video, and calendar link to schedule a call. 30 minute consultation call Proposal, contract, and invoice sent Client is sent wedding questionnaire, calendar link to book engagement session, bridals session (if applicable) and final call. 6 weeks before wedding - Photo timeline creation 4 weeks before wedding - Timeline collaboration with planner 1 week before wedding - Final call Sneak peeks delivered in 5 business days Full gallery delivered 8-10 weeks

Do your wedding collections include engagement sessions?Yes! All three of my wedding collections include a 1 hour engagement session.

Can I still book with your team if you are not physically available for my wedding?Yes! You will be in amazing hands with my team if I am already personally booked. When an associate of mine goes in my place on your wedding day, you receive complimentary content creation added to your engagement session with me as a thank you for trusting me, while not physically being there. All communication prior and post wedding is still with me. I’m your girl at every moment, just not on your wedding day.

On a wedding day when so much is taking place, I want to be the calm for an overwhelmed bride. There is nothing more heartbreaking than hearing about a bride and groom who did not enjoy their wedding day or were so occupied with questions and worries that their day seems to be a blur. These stories are so rough to hear. A bride and groom’s wedding day is one of the, if not the most important day of their lives. They deserve to celebrate, live in the moment, soak in the love, and have a day that they remember and cherish forever.
That is why my mission statement for Taylor Cook & Co., is SO deeply important. Every couple deserves to be taken care of on their wedding day. As a photographer, I have direct and close access to the couple for the entirety of their special day. The experience a bride and groom have with me from the time they inquire, to a consultation call, to their engagement session leading up to their big day is HUGE. I want my couples to feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of throughout the entire process of working together. Their experience with me, even BEFORE their wedding, gives them the security of knowing that I will go above and beyond for them on their special day.
